Is it true that British applicants for the DTV only need 500k THB in their account for one month and must apply from their home country?

Is it true that when applying for DTV as a Brit you only need to have had the 500k+ THB in your account for 1 month? And also to confirm I MUST 100% apply from my home country now, not a border run etc?

Thanks
Answer summary
The question concerns the requirements for British nationals applying for the DTV visa in Thailand, specifically whether they need to maintain 500,000 THB in their account for just one month. There are also inquiries about whether applications must be submitted from the home country, and various comments discuss these topics along with personal experiences regarding visa conversions, the necessity of in-person appearances at immigration, and the challenges of online visa processes.

My question is how can convert tourist visa to NON O marriage visa. A lot of mixed answers i get is like 1 month first and then 12 months... others say 3 months first and then 12 months.

Can i please get a genuine advice and is it easy to do myself at the immigration?

Is there any update on 90 day reporting to move from webpage to the new THIM app?

Don't pay an agent to do it. People recommending this probably just have no clue how easy it is.

Do it at your nearest immigration office or here:

kohsa9997 you'd better make a post in the group and get your advice from people who are on a marriage visa.

I am not on one of those so I can't give you a proper answer.

Just did mine online today, took minutes to do then instant confirmed. I didnt know that the first after extension renewal has to be done in person, can anyone confirm this ?

Kess Samui if it's your first time (2st time after every entry is the first time) the system accepts it, but after a manual control they tend to reject it.

Check your email like Tracey said.

Kess Samui some Immigration Offices are asking for this if you do the 800k banked method so they can ask to see that you maintained the 800k for your first 3 months of the extension. If going in person it's a good idea to update your bank book on the way just in case.

Kess Samui mine was confirmed and a pdf sent, checked email next day and it said it has been rejected. Check your email and make sure.

Kess Samui The first one after you enter the country. Very often, that is done when you apply for your extension, as your first 90 days is due around that time. It can be done up to 15 days prior to and 7 days after the due date, but there are different timings for online reporting. If you change address you also have to do it in-person

Ian Morrison 90 day online reporting can only be done between 14 and 7 days before due date.

Ian Morrison you do not do a 90 day report until your first 90 days of an extension not the original non-o

Been around for years

Its silly but but that's the way they play it

But give it a try online. Its only a few minutes do worth a try

But it so often fails to work online at anytime, typical Thai apps

Good luck
