TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon entering Thailand overland, UK passport holders are eligible for a 60-day visa exemption, not 30 days as rumored. This policy applies regardless of whether entry is by land, sea, or air.

Depends on what passport you have. Most are 60 days atm.

NOPE...if you are eligible for Visa Exempt Entry, as you appear to be from the UK, you will be stamped in for 60 days on arrival into Thailand by land, sea or air.
