Is it still possible to get a 3-month visa in Penang, and what are the requirements?
Hi all, looking for advice. My fiancé and I are making a visa run to Penang is it still possible to get a 3 month visa from here? If so where can I find a thorough list of the requirements. The Thai embassy website isn't clear. Thank you.
Answer summary
The original poster seeks information on obtaining a 3-month visa while on a visa run to Penang. However, comments clarify that currently, the tourist visa is only for 60 days with an option to extend for another 30 days, effectively making it a 90-day stay maximum if extended. Practical tips include bringing proof of funds and necessary documentation like flight and accommodation details.

I am in Penang now. Don't forget a print out of proof you have some money to afford to stay. They are very picky here.
And it is now a 2 month tourist visa. Not 3 month

"What do you mean by "3 month visa"? Tourist visa, for example, gets you in for 60 days, which can be extended 30 days more.
