TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to provide the required financial proof of 800,000 baht for their retirement Non-O visa application, as they have just received their superannuation funds and do not have three months of statements available. Commenters share experiences regarding the financial proof requirements for both the initial application and for extensions, noting that requirements can vary by location and may involve showing three months of bank statements or needing to maintain the funds for a specified period.

In the UK you need 800k for one month or an income of more than 65k baht for three months. I have obtained 4 non O visas since Covid and never had 800k baht in the bank.

In Nakhon they require a full 12 month statement to renew, with the full 800,000 bhat for the last three months but never below 400,000 at anytime in the 12 month period

I don't know if it is different from the UK. But when I applied I had only had more than £20k in my UK bank for 1 month and I still got my 90 day Non O visa. That was last October

I just did mine. Requires last 3 months of bank statements showing income in excess of Thai Baht 65,000 per month. The Thai Baht 800,000 is required when applying for the 12 month extension.

I think you have no choice. You must transfer your money to a Thai account well before the last three months: 800,000 baht or an amount greater than 65,000 baht.

I live sa kaeow, phoned aranyaprathet immigration 3 weeks before renewal of non o, they said needed 4 months 800k proof, I have 6 months so went there with all documents, turned me away saying I must come back with 12 months 800k statement proof, so went back to original visa immigration chon buri, no problem there

statements and requirements are 2 different things. The 12 months of statements are to check 2 things, that you met the terms of your current extension (800k in bank for 3 months and never going below 400k all year) and that you meet the requirements of the extension you are applying for (in the case of Sa Kaeo that's 800k for 3 months, even though the official position is 2 months). They check both of these very carefully.

you are incorrect in your advice, it's not 800k for 3 months only and no less than 400k all year, I was there aranyaprathet on 9th this week, was refused as they would only accept a full 12 months of showing 800k,I actually had 10 months in total but to no avail, there are some other provinces asking the same now

I've used that office for the last 9 years. I know exactly what they require for an annual extension based on retirement.

then maybe best to no self appoint yourself as fact checker,as immigration officers are free to specify different requirements per case, there are no concrete requirements for their decisions per case, surprisingly you don't know this

of course there's concrete requirements which they openly publish on their Google Drive. But they also check very carefully that you meet the terms of your previous extension of stay and if that was via an agent supplying funds it's guaranteed you won't.

concrete requirements that they are not obliged to adhere to, I've been here 17 years, that's my 2 daughters in profile photo,6 and 13 years, my post is to maybe assist others in realising nothing is 100% sure. If they change requirements somewhat, just accept it, never argue does not work here, just go to another provinces immigration , just stick to the rules given and enjoy life here

You don't....you have to deposit the money and wait the 3 months. It is a requirement you cannot get around.

If you are applying for the Non-O from home country you can use any 3 month bank statements as long as it’s in your name

Are you saying that at this time , you only have your super fund money ?
