TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering enrolling in a Muay Thai program at Tiger Eyes in Bangkok but is concerned about the cost of a 6-month course. They seek recommendations for reliable and affordable training options while inquiring whether a 1 or 3 month program would suffice for applying for a DTV Visa. Community comments highlight differing perspectives on course lengths, with some suggesting a 6-month commitment may be necessary for the visa application, while others indicate that shorter courses may still be valid.
I got mine through Tiger Eye with a 3 month course. My buddy also got it through them with a one month course. But honestly, if you can't afford a 6 month course then maybe you should reconsider getting a 5 year visa.
Anonymous participant good luck man, there's other more budget-friendly options in Bangkok too. I'd just recommend choosing a gym in Bangkok if this is where you're gonna be living.
You can’t afford tiger eye? It’s still if you calculate per year the visa cost. You should pick an embassy with high approval on soft power and have 500,000 in your account more than a couple of days.
I was told they check if you attend Muay Thai or the school has to report if students attend. If looking for the cheapest option because you will not attend most of the time then I guess I see why your shopping around. If it’s right not sure either
