Is it normal to wait over two weeks for DTV visa processing in Vietnam, and how can I check the status?

Hello 👋

I sent all the DTV forms in HANOI on 22 July 2025.

Its been more than 2 weeks, and I need to leave Vietnam soon.

Is it normal ?

should I send an email to check the status ? If so to what address ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about the waiting time for DTV visa processing after sending the forms to the Thai embassy in Hanoi on July 22, 2025. They mention needing to leave Vietnam soon and ask if the waiting period is normal, and whether they should follow up via email. Several community members respond, sharing their own experiences of similar processing times, suggesting possible slowdowns due to holidays, and providing a link to the email address for status inquiries.
