Is it harder for Cambodian citizens to travel to Thailand currently?

I am Cambodian citizen... Is it harder for me to go to Thailand right now.. I usually go every year as a tourist... But I'm hearing stories that Cambodian citizen are getting turned away at bkk airport... I have all my documents, proof of fund, accomodations, and return ticket home... Please any information will be great

My wife is Cambodian, I work in Thailand. She was held at BKK airport in immigration, and had to return to Phnom penh.
She had thb 1 million in her account, she owns property, she has her own business, BUT she did not have 20k thb in her hand..I spoke to immigration, and unofficially........

You can travel to Thailand, but expect scrutiny and delays on arrival at the border control, especially if your purpose of travel is only for pleasure. You should be let in after an interview. It may not be the best idea for Cambodians to travel to Thailand, but they aren’t banned.

Cambodian Airlines was asking passengers to show $200 cash at check in. Or they weren’t allowed to board. The Thai immigration rules.
