My question is about visa run. I know most of the people do it from laos but I would like to do it from singapure, cause I have a cousin living there and missed him a lot! 💙 do you know if it's easy to get thai visa in singapure? Or is it risky?
Many thanks 🙏🏾

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the process of obtaining a Thai visa in Singapore, particularly for visa runs, which typically involve traveling to another country to renew a visa. Users suggest that, with proper documentation and pre-booking, it is possible to secure a tourist visa from the Thai Embassy in Singapore. However, there are specific requirements, including proof of adequate finances (e.g., having $1000 in cash), and users advise to use the online application process. Concerns about the necessity for fully paid return tickets are also brought up, with some suggesting that ticket reservations might be acceptable.
I see... and i am curious about tickets because it says tickets for in and out thailand but I can't buy it now especially the out because I don't know yet where i will be heading to... would they accept also a reservation?
Singapore isn't a bad place to deal with, BUT you either meet their requirements and get a visa or you don't meet them and you don't get a visa. They are no nonsense.
I took non-B and ED visa from Singapore. You have to apply online by uploading necessary documents to the application. Check website and do that from home. All application has to be done online even trourist visa.
Upload it. If unacceptable, the system tells you to what to do. I never get rejected or failed. Next day, I hear to come to the place physically with the uploaded documents. I submit and following day, I get the passport back.
