Has anyone applied for DTV in HCM rather than Hanoi recently? Any idea on bank statement history they are asking for? And other documents thinking about it!

Asking for a friend who has flight into HCM rather than Hanoi and wondering if better to hop down to Hanoi and apply as know they are/were less strict there, can obviously show hotel booking as proof of being in Hanoi rather than HCM.
