Muay thai Soft power DTV - I have the 500k and all the docs required but no income for few years.
Is the ''unemployed'' occupation a red flag for them ?
Do we better have to put freelancer instead ?
Any similar situation ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether listing 'unemployed' as an occupation is problematic when applying for a visa to Thailand, especially if the applicant has sufficient funds (500k) and documentation. Community responses indicate that many have listed 'unemployed' without issues, suggesting that showing proof of funds in a checking or savings account and tax returns is crucial. However, some comments caution that the acceptance of 'unemployed' may depend on the country of application. Listing as 'freelancer' might require demonstrating income, which could complicate the application.
It depends where you apply. Vietnam/ jskarta/ most western countries accept unemployed and freelancer but some SE Asian embassys ask questions

I did Muay Thai with Fight EVO360 Thailand - Thepprasit Boxing Stadium and put unemployed with no trouble. If anything this is why they ask for tax returns. So as long as you have your money in a checking or savings account(no stocks or bonds accounts) and can show you paid your taxes then you should be fine.
