TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether having a Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) is equivalent to a land border run. A comment clarifies that the limit of two visits applies to visa exemptions, suggesting that the user should be fine with their intentions. Additionally, the comment reminds the user of the 20,000 baht requirement.

The 2 per year thing only applies to visa exemptions. Which I think is what you'll be going for. Should be fine. Don't forget the 20k baht :)

You can do a border bounce without a problem.
