Has anyone flown back to the uk with COVID vaccination certificate issued in thailand?

Do I need the actual yellow vaccine passport or is the piece of paper I was given when I got my second shot ok?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the requirements for traveling back to the UK with a COVID vaccination certificate issued in Thailand. Users clarify that while the Mor Prom app certificate with a QR code is preferred, the original paper certificate from the hospital is also accepted without issues in the UK. There are mixed responses about needing a passport number on the Mor Prom app version, but it seems sufficient to have the paper version.

The hospital certificate is accepted.

you don't need the Thai passport thing, the original paper given by the hospital is fine. I was never asked to show anything in the UK

I have it in the mor prom app but it doesn’t state my passport number for some reason. My paper version does though.

Grant Williams. Open the app and click on this one. This opens the certificate with all your details including passport number

You need the certificate from the Mor Prom app. That's got the QR code which can be accessed anywhere in the world. The Yellow Passport is ok, but some places may not accept it, as it's not electronic

the yellow international passport "approved" by WHO does have a QR code on it. It is electronic if we are talking about the same thing

Delvonte Arnold. Those issued in Thailand have no QR code
