Is a black and white print of my DTV visa acceptable for use in Thailand?

Hi,

I have received my DTV visa through email, I know it should be printed off which I have done, however my printer is having problems and only doing black and white copies.

Will black and white suffice or should it be full colour?

TIA :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus from community responses is that a black and white print of the DTV visa is generally acceptable for entry into Thailand. Many users have successfully used black and white prints or even mobile screenshots of their visas without issues. While it's advisable to print the visa, color printing is not strictly necessary. Some users have recommended having a color version printed at a copy shop in Thailand as a precaution.

Thailand loves paper!! you should have it printed out. black & white is okay… you can get a better printout anytime in a copy shop in thailand if you want. Do not rely on the pdf / mail on your phone. better be safe than sorry.

At least you got the DTV Visa, believe me, a black and white printout is the very, very, very smallest problem in the world. What could happen ?? They refuse to let you into Thailand ? Then you just go back. Find a color copy shop and have the thing printed out in color

It is not required to print it, although advisable. I simply showed the screenshot to IO, and I got my 180 days stamp.

Black and white is fine. A friend of mine used a black and white print of his visa and had no problems.
