How Will My 90 Day Report Work with a New UK Passport in Thailand?

I am due my next 90 day report on 15th August and normally do online on the first eligible day, in this case 1st August.

However on the 31st July I will (hopefully) pick up a new UK passport at VFS along with a letter to transfer my stamps which I will take same day to the Immigration Office and also will ask them to do a new 90 day report.

As the 1st and 2nd is the weekend, if they can't acommodate my 90 day in person on the 31st, what are the chances of the online continuing to work with my new passport? If it throws an error could it still work with the old passport number, given the system may not be updated so fast?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about completing their 90-day report online after picking up their new UK passport and transferring stamps. They seek advice on the timing and potential issues with the online system after the passport change.

I took your advice and re-arranged my driver from Friday 31 to Monday 3rd, which is in the 'early' window for 90 day reporting. I should be able to do the stamp transfer followed by a TM47 report in person which will have the new passport number on. Hope this is enough for it to work next time around and avoid another 320Km round trip to my immigration office.

Just go get the stamps transferred on Monday instead.

IF I was a betting man i'd bet they aren't gonna do a 90 day report earlier than 15 days before it's due :/

I'd say there is no chance that your new passport data will work for the online 90 day report program until you actually file one 90 day report in person with it
