How to apply for the Thai DTV e-visa as a remote worker and enter Thailand with a pet?

Hello everyone,

I’m planning to apply for the Thai DTV e-visa as a remote worker (with my wife as a dependent), and I had a few questions for anyone who has already gone through the process.

Did you apply fully online, or did you still need to go in person to the embassy at some stage? Also, how long did it take to receive the visa after applying online?

We are currently in Italy (not Italian citizens), and my employment contract is not in English. I would also like to use my Italian rental contract as the “document indicating current location,” but that document is also not in English. Do these documents need a sworn/legal translation, or is a regular professional translation sufficient?

We will also be traveling with our cat, so if anyone has experience entering Thailand with a pet while on the DTV visa, I would really appreciate hearing how it went and whether immigration or the airport process was complicated.

Thank you very much in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on applying for the Thai DTV e-visa online, including whether they need to visit the embassy in person, the expected processing time, and translation requirements for documents not in English. Additionally, they are inquiring about experiences related to bringing a pet into Thailand under the DTV visa.

a Short visit to the Thai Embassy in Italy gives all the answers.

BUT as Facebook seems more important:

I expect Thai embassy in Italy to accept documents in Italian.

Generally Thai, English and official language(s) of countries where embassy is located or has jurisdiction for, are accepted.

You apply online and only attend the embassy if asked for an interview
