I’m planning to apply for the Thai DTV e-visa as a remote worker (with my wife as a dependent), and I had a few questions for anyone who has already gone through the process.
Did you apply fully online, or did you still need to go in person to the embassy at some stage? Also, how long did it take to receive the visa after applying online?
We are currently in Italy (not Italian citizens), and my employment contract is not in English. I would also like to use my Italian rental contract as the “document indicating current location,” but that document is also not in English. Do these documents need a sworn/legal translation, or is a regular professional translation sufficient?
We will also be traveling with our cat, so if anyone has experience entering Thailand with a pet while on the DTV visa, I would really appreciate hearing how it went and whether immigration or the airport process was complicated.
Thank you very much in advance!
