Hi lovelies 👋 UPDATED

I’m booking my flights and everything else tonight/ tomorrow and will be flying out for the test and go program March 1st. How far in advance would everyone recommend applying for the Thai pass? Thanks I’m advance!

⭐️⭐️Another dumb question here, I’m getting a single entry tourist visa and still waiting to hear back, do I have to wait for a response before applying for my Thai pass? Or can I apply for my Thai pass right away. Thanks again!! ⭐️⭐️

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community strongly recommends applying for the Thai Pass as soon as possible, ideally at least two weeks before your flight. It is possible to apply even if you haven't received your single entry tourist visa approval yet. The Thai Pass doesn't expire based on application timing but is tied to your arrival date. You can apply up to 60 days in advance of your departure. Users have noted that responses can vary from a few hours to several days for approval.

I've just done 2 months in Thailand. Be aware once you clear customs. It's a nightmare! Waiting for the transport to the quarantine hotel! It's complete chaos! Be ready to sit around for an hour or so. Immigration and customs was easy. I was thru in 5 mins. Any other questions. Just message me and I'll help if I can. Safe travels. 🙏

you don't need e visa. Just a hint. Thai pass doesn't work with outlook email address. It's so much easier with Google mail. 👍

You can apply for Thai Pass up to 60 days before date of departure. Now will be fine.

Now.

Apply at least one week before flight just to be safe. But you can apply anytime. Technically there is no expiring date because the Thai pass is tied to your date of arrival.

I arrived here on 2nd February, booked my flight back in November and the Thai pass was approved within a few hours.

now the system is changing and I dont believe they allow new applications more than 60 days in advance. Besides, any further than that and the rules could easily change again.

I’m curious to know how long you have to use it before it expires. Don’t want to apply too early in case there’s a time limit on when you can use it. I’m not sure.

you can only apply no sooner than 60 days before you arrive and it is valid to the date you arrive so technically at most 60 days

that's not how it works. You're applying for a specific date. It's good for that date.

You can apply up to 60 days ahead of time, and then you can use it when you enter based on the information you provided in your application.

If you change your entry, you apply for a new Thailand Pass

good to know. Thanks Brandon. Much appreciated.

you can apply up to 60 days prior to your arrival date I think ....no time limit .

It will say the date you come and it allows 72 hours after that date for any delays in flights

thanks mate.

Apply now just to be safe. I fly out March 1st too, staying in BKK for test and go.

My thai pass only took a few days but better to be safe 😊
