How far in advance can I do the one year extension of my Non-O based on retirement in Chiang Mai. Is it 30 or 45 days? My current Non-O extension is through 8 Nov. I’m traveling much of October and would prefer to renew before I depart. 45 days before would work. 30 days would not since I leave 5 Oct.
TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a one year extension of your Non-O visa based on retirement in Chiang Mai up to 45 days before your current visa ends. Since your current extension is valid until November 8, you can renew anytime from the end of September to early November, which allows you to apply before your departure on October 5.
