For anyone who's interested, I was waiting for March 1st to apply for my thaipass (to enter with the new Test and Go rules). I'm flying on March 10th. It took exactly 90min for me to receive my Thaipass. When I went last month, I think I had to wait 5 to 6 days.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thaipass application process under the new Test and Go rules takes approximately 90 minutes, a significant reduction from the previous 5 to 6 days. This was first noticed by an individual flying on March 10. Users have shared their experiences regarding their visa types and travel insurance coverage, indicating a mix of concerns about travel requirements and costs.

Hi, I bought a travel insurance in November 2021 with a covid coverage of $
*****
for 30 days for 2250 baht. Now i asked a quote for the same insurance with a lower coverage of $
*****
but you want to charge me 3350 baht. Can you explain why an insurance with a lower risk is now 1100 baht more expensive?

I applied first thing this morning and am still waiting.....✈️

I'm from France, flying from Paria. And yes, I have my 3 Pfizer vaccines and uploaded the QR codes for each one to speed up the process.

Same here flying March 10 that’s reassuring

Are you travelling on a tourist visa I plan on staying 2 months not sure if I need to extend to a 60 day before flying
Philip **********
@Nina ******
you can get a 60day tourist visa which costs £30, all done online before you come aswell, a little bit cheaper than extending once here but also takes away the concern off forgetting to extend.

@Nina ******
you can extend your 30 day exempt visa entry for another 30 days giving you 60 days total in Thailand. Cost is 1900baht at immigration office

yes I am. Planning to get an ED visa during my stay though, I will stay for a year. You can easily take care of it over there. I believe it will cost you 1900 baht to get a 30-day extension.

not to worry. You'll be fine. Have a hard copy of everything : insurance, hotel reservation, passport, thai pass, PCR, etc. Thai authorities are fond of hard copies. I found out the hard way and wasted 45 minutes because I had everything on paper except for one thing.
