TLDR : Answer Summary
For extending your non-immigrant education visa in Thailand, it is generally recommended to visit immigration at least 30 days before your visa expiration. However, if you are in major cities like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, or Phuket, it's advisable to go 45 days in advance.

Depend on where. If Bangkok, Chiang Mai or Phuket its 45 days in advance. Most others its 30.
