Did a 4-day, 6 month DTV visa run this week to vietnam via BKK.
Zero problems leaving, zero problems reentering, zero questions, zero verifications WRT cash on-hand or cash in a bank account.
I had *everything* ready as well (even printed leases and class payments), I did have my DTV laminated and ready to hand over.
The agent barely acknowledged me.

Did you check your stamp? If you don't hand in your DTV it is advisable to check your stamp before leaving immigration

Yeah exactly how it is. It’s a multi entry visa. Don’t fall for the fearmongering. Coming in and out frequently is exactly what the DTV is for!
