I’ve just received my ACRO in the UK and it only took 11 days to arrive!

I had already paid for a DBS police report which is what I thought was the requirement. Thank you to this group for advising about the ACRO.

I had never heard of it before!

Note that they don’t send a soft copy they post a hard copy to your address.

Also, I had a photo taken yesterday professionally and they ensured that the image conforms to Thailand requirements, ie. size of head within image and 35x45mm dimensions.

I also applied for a DBS annoyingly before doing the ACRO. However, I dong remember there being a section about uploading a photo... do they also just use your passport you upload?

Just a note about the photo. I did the same thing, including using the correct size, but my application was cancelled because of it.

You’re better off taking a selfie on your mobile and making sure that when you upload it to the application, the little green tick appears in the top right corner.x

I don't thonk the photo was why you were rejected. I took an anchor photo and not a selfie and tehy just asked me take a selfie in the additional documents.

it wasn’t rejected, it was cancelled. They requested an additional photo and it stated in not so many words that the application would be cancelled if the photo i provided didn’t meet “standards”.

I then submitted an almost identical photo and it was cancelled.
