So my daughter's year extension of her passport was granted but there is a warning about re-entry permit being required.
How and where do I get this from please?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a re-entry permit for your daughter's extended passport in Thailand, you can get it from either immigration offices or international airports. The fee is 1,000 baht for a single entry and 3,800 baht for a multiple entry permit. If you go to the airport, bringing necessary documents can save you an extra 200 baht fee. It's important to secure this permit to avoid voiding her visa when leaving and returning to Thailand.

It can be quite a hassle to obtain the re-entry permit at the airport or immigration.
If she plans to travel overseas more than once in the next 12 months -
I would highly recommend getting the Multiple Re-Entry permit for 3,800 baht

At immigration after passport control, they will be there 1200thb each time, very easy procedure.

Yeah as stated with prices, you must have re-entry stamp, if you don't your visa really becomes void & you have to start the whole process again, simple into immigration re-entry stamp please ah with the odd paperwork as usual

You can get re-entry permit at the airport without docs pay 200 baht extra. You vbring form and photos, no extra pay.
No extra fee at CW office, but you need to prepare documents.

You’ll get re-entry permit at your immigration or the international airports. Single 1000 baht, multiple 3800 baht.
thanks! One last question please: how long should we allow for the processing, etc (wondering how much earlier than usual we should get to the airport).
, depends on the time and day. You may allow 15-20 mins extra. Sometimes no queue, still takes 10 minutes. Sometimes a few people, take less than 10 minutes. Sometime 5-6 people are waiting.
I guess it depends on season. Never done it my self so I really can’t give you a better answer than your own guess. Personally I would have been at the airport approximately four hours before departure.
I just done it a few days ago. It takes between 10-30min. You apply, pay, they take your photo, you give documents, you sit and wait. At the desk that says are-entry permit prior immigration before heading to your gate. It’s easy. Important to know that They take only cash. Its important to do so she don’t loses her extension when she re enters the country.
If you want to be ready and make sure, do it at your immigration office a week before departure.

If she wants to leave, she needs a re-entry permit, you can get at immigration or the international airport. 1000 baht for single, 3800 baht for multi.
I literally did the visa extension and re-entry permit today. It’s best to book the re-entry online to save time. I wasn’t able to book and the wait was quite a while. Just make sure you have all the correct paperwork. This is where you can book online
