What are the experiences of getting a DTV visa through House of Taste Thai Cooking School?

I have been researching cooking schools in Bangkok that are eligible for the DTV visa, and I keep coming across *House of Taste Thai Cooking School*.

I already searched this group and found several posts about them, but to be honest those posts read like advertisements rather than independent experiences, which makes me cautious. On the other hand, I also have not found any negative reviews about them anywhere, which is definitely a plus.

Has anyone here personally used House of Taste to apply for a DTV visa and can share:

* Which embassy or consulate processed your application

* Whether it was approved or rejected, and how long it took

I am not looking for promotional replies, only genuine first hand experiences so I can make an informed decision before paying.

Thanks in advance!

I applied visa in Hanoi , took only 4 days. I am now attending cooking class there . 2 classes already done. For me everything went well since the class registration to the second day of class. The price is reasonable. I had fun in the classes.

I got mine thru them.

I went thru Hanoi and it took about 9 days. I was asked for more documents about the school but they provided it and I was approved a day or two after that.

I got my visa using them about two weeks ago via the Los Angeles consulate. It only took about 45 minutes for my application to be approved.

Maybe you can just pay a visit to the school if you don't believe what most of us share in this group? You seem to have done some research already and came up with good reviews everywhere, and you're still being cautious. What else can be said, online, that you'd accept to trust?

Keyword cooking using the search tool brings up a few schools in the Bangkok area. You need to drill down the threads original post to get school names.

Just to share from my experience: our cooking school is in Chiang Mai, and we’ve helped students with the DTV visa process. One of our students from the UK applied at the Thai Embassy in the UK and got approved. The whole process took about 2 weeks.

Hopefully this gives a bit of insight for anyone planning to apply. Happy to answer factual questions about the process!

A few of us had suspicions about a flurry of recent posts about them too. :-) Maybe just overzealous marketing? As long as all paperwork supplied and they are an approved DTV Soft Power supplier it should be no issue getting approved.
