Hello I’m in the process of applying for an OA visa in New York City I already secured a ASQ and flight/insurance.  My flight scheduled to enter Bkk on January 23￼ 2021.  All documents have to be uploaded before approval￼ in the USA New York City.

 ￼The issue I’m having is that my criminal background certificate is conducted by appointment only at one police plaza 

no appointment ￼availability  ￼until February 17 2021￼￼

Can anyone advise me how to get criminal background ￼certificate  ASAP so I can upload.   Thanks

I did the FBI one directly. Finger prints at local police station. Mailed them to the FBI and got the complete background check emailed within four hours of their receipt.

Cannot use a local law enforcement background check. Read what it clearly says on RTE website. Must be state DOJ or FBI

Then you should be able to mail all of this to your NYSBI, it usually that's 2-3 weeks in NC..

It can not be local police or sheriff, can be state bureau if Investigation.. in NC we had to fill out a form and send with our Fingerprints And mail it to them.. find a Fingerprint site and you can usually get an appointment right away With Them.. ours cost $37. For Fingerprints and $18.00 for SBI report..

This is the FBI's approved list of channelers (companies authorized by the FBI to provide FBI background checks). There are different payment options, but the quickest on (I think $50) gets you your background check in 48 hours.
