How can I provide proof of accommodation for a DTV visa application while applying from South Korea?

Hello

I am currently applying for the DTV visa from South Korea and have received an additional document request:

"Proof of Accommodation in Thailand: Lease Agreement or Invitation letter to the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul. (Typed with sponsor’s signature including reason, period, pp no) to certify your stay (Upload Sponsor's PP and ID copy, etc)"

Since this visa cannot be applied for from within Thailand, how is it possible to submit a Lease Agreement? It is unrealistic to sign a rental contract online without even seeing the place.

Has anyone else encountered this request? If so, I would appreciate it if you could share how you resolved this issue.

They express concern over the practicality of signing a rental contract without seeing the property in person. Other users share their experiences, noting that not all DTV visa applications were asked for such documentation and suggest the applicant seek clarification from the authorities.

Been thinking about this one a bit and I find it odd that it mentions sponsor or invertation letter, is it possible that you selected an option that says you are a partner or family of someone that already has a DTV or other VISA, if that's not it I think you may be best to ask them to explain a bit more as your right it's unlikely for anyone to have a lease out of country and as you will have an income you shouldn't need a sponsor or invertation

I successfully applied from South Korea under the category “workcation” and I was not asked for a lease agreement or invitation letter - what are you applying under? Workcation or soft power?
