I’ve just had this from Hanoi embassy asking for proof of income for my business. It’s registered but yet to have income from yet.

I do have a full portfolio of work eg. YouTube videos, courses, website etc

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user has been asked by the Hanoi embassy for proof of income for their registered business that has not yet generated income. They possess a portfolio of work, including YouTube videos and courses. A few comments suggest that having no income might complicate the visa approval process and share experiences of providing additional documentation, like cover letters or signed contracts, to explain their situation.

I take it you are actually in Vietnam and not left the Country yet?

Search for my report of my application in HCMC, I was in similar situation and included a cover letter explaining the situation and included the signed contract of the job which was still to start. I was approved.

You should have done soft power

No income is risky to get approved

Spot on. Much easier and there's no difference unless it says in the remarks.
