How can I prove I'm not in Thailand while applying for a Thai visa from Albania?

US passport applying from Albania

I'm planning on applying for the DTV soft power with a cooking school. 

I'm currently in Albania, which uses an electronic entry for US passports (ie, no physical stamp on my passport). How can I prove that I am not in Thailand without this?

Also, it seems like the Honorary Thai Consulate in Tirana is no longer working. Will this be a problem? (I've seen that sometimes an in-person interview is required?)

Are you an Albanian national or resident? Albanian nationals and residents are assigned to the Thai embassy in Rome. If you are in Albania as a tourist or other short term visa, you have no option to apply for a Thai visa from there.

Can submit your flight/boarding pass, hotel booking, receipt from Albanian ATM, date/time stamped photo of you in Albania.
