Hi all.

I ask quite often for advice on here and I am absolutely delighted with the responses I received both positive and negative.

I wrote in December asking for advice on my fathers medication and I am happy to report that we applied for and received permission to bring my fathers medication into Thailand particularly some medication classed as narcotics.

I would like to reach out and ask for some further advice about obtaining oxygen for my father.

Can anyone advise how to obtain oxygen for my father should it be required.

Outside of BKK, in a big city, they should have a Medical Supplies store too.

If you live in Bangkok, you would be amazed that there are many Medical supplies stores all through out. You can find everything you need i.e wheelchairs, crutches, bed pan etc. For example Omron Thailand Medical suppliie store in Sathorn BKK. Rakmor Medical . Co Ltd. Please search "Medical supply stores near me ". Also, there are really no need to import your father's medicines. Pharmacies in Thailand has just about all medications prescribed for almost all diseases. Might even be cheaper, you could ask local pharmacy if they can get it for you or ask your father's doctor to prescribe meds for you and get the medicine at the hospital pharmacy.
