How can I extend my visa amnesty in Thailand and find a reliable visa agent?

Hello! I’m currently on visa amnesty until 29th January. I thought I was returning home but due to another flight being cancelled (getting back into Australia for residents is incredibly difficult at the moment I’m on my 10th cancelled flight) I’m looking into staying longer term and waiting it out to return. Does anyone know a reliable not dodgy visa agent? Thank you 🙏 I know it’s late notice but I’m hoping I can extend another 60 days under amnesty and then have my new visa organised.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user on a COVID-19 visa extension, facing flight cancellations, seeks advice on extending their stay in Thailand beyond January 29th, 2021. Community members provide guidance on applying for another 60-day extension at immigration, as well as warnings about relying on visa agents. They discuss the status of the visa amnesty, clarifying that it expired in September but suggesting alternative options for staying longer, like the COVID-19 extensions, and the importance of researching proper visa avenues instead of questionable agents.

I'm currently on a covid extension that expires on the 19th February, does anyone knows if I should also go before a 29th to get other extension or can I go near the expiration date of my current visa extension?

Does anyone know if US Embassy still issuing extension letters, or it’s required for the 60 day covid extension? My previous 60 day stamp also expires on the 29th Jan. Wonder if i should wait out until the final week before visiting..

Thanks for the help everyone! Sorry I was not clear enough that’s my bad, I’m currently on the 60 day covid extension and will extend again before 29th January. I was more asking about finding agent who can help me after this next extension as I would like to plan ahead 😊🙏

Okay, you're NOT on amnesty at all. :/ I say that because amnesty ran out back at the end of September :O

You are most likely on a 60 covid extension

AND

there is no problem going to your immigration office and applying for ANOTHER 60 day covid extension before the 29th of Jan (when your stamp & the rule that lets people get 60 day extensions runs out) :)

There is no need to get a visa agent involved yet.. Just go get another 60 day covid extension and that will buy you time to look for a longer term visa solution

thank you, sorry that’s my mistake I meant that I was originally on the amnesty and now on the covid 60 extension. 😊 I plan to extend again then hopefully can find a reputable agent to get a longer solution as I don’t want to keep relying on the covid extensions.

Strange! Visa amnesty finished on October 31st. Are you sure you're not being sold bs by an agent?

January 29th is the last day (currently) that you can apply for the unable to travel due to Covid extension. This will get you a further 60 days. After that date no one yet knows what your options will be.

Don't need an agent.. Take the convid 60 days first and then look if you can get an ED visa. With a school who has connections to tge immigration. Cost around 30 k per year... Need to go to school learning.. Easy
