Hey guys! I have 2 cases I wanna solve

1. NON O

- he is an Iranian holding Non-O visa (volunteer type). Is there any ways to change this to Non-B

2. NON-ED

- he is Cambodian who studied in Thailand specifically Pattani. After his graduation, he cancelled his student visa and applied for COVID visa in Bangkok. Is there any ways to change this visa to NON-B

TLDR : Answer Summary
Two individuals seek guidance on converting their current Thai visas to a NON-B visa. The first case involves an Iranian national on a NON-O (volunteer) visa, inquiring about changing to a NON-B visa, which is typically for business. The second case is about a Cambodian who, after studying in Pattani and using a COVID extension, is looking to switch from a NON-ED to a NON-B. Responses suggest the necessity of employer documentation for the change and highlight the importance of consulting visa specialists for accurate advice.

They can change to Non Imm B visas with documentation from their employers.

Did he give money to a visa agent? If he did, he'll have to talk to the agent.

>s there any ways to change a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 to NON-B?

That'll be between his employer and the immigration office. Probably not though ๐Ÿ™

For the Cambodian on the covid extension, provided the immigration office is willing to convert in country and his prospective employer can meet the additional requirements of applying in country then yes it can be converted to a non-B. However, I am not sure if there are additional rules for migrant workers, of which Cambodians are considered.

For the Iranian on a volunteer visa, was this obtained by actually volunteering or by an agency giving a big brown envelope to an immigration officer in the middle of nowhere?

I'm no expert, and the first to say it. However I am under the impression that a non B is a business visa. You either have to have a job in Thailand or are going to conduct business in Thailand. Suggest you contact a visa specialist or an Embassy for information that is credible.

Hey there! simply there is a company for these two but I just have no idea how to change it.

Have contacted so many agencies but they mentioned the only way is to travel out of Thailand (well apparently if they leave, they probably cant never come back at this time.__.)

Thanks tho!
