Probably a pointless exercise but has anyone ever called Immigration @ Chaengwattana Government complex on 02 141 9889 and actually got through to talk to a human being?

@Ryan *******
, how about asking your visa question on this group and see if people can answer it?

There is no way to change a single entry 90 day Non-Immigrant VISA to a multi-entry one :/

You would get an extension on the visa you have and then apply for a re-entry permit

Oh yes I did try that earlier but answer was not particularly clear. It was if I could use TM86 to change my non immigrant Ed visa from SE to ME. I think I was told I can't do it. You see my country does not offer ME student visas to Thailand from any embassy/consulate...

How about asking the visa question you want to ask them and see if anyone knows the answer ;)
Tod *********
sorry, I meant ask your question on here and see if anyone knows the answer.

Given most immigration officers have an abysmal grasp of engrish and given that most foreigners have an equally abysmal grasp of the visa/extension rules many MANY things get 'lost in translation'. :O

I think the suggestion is probably that you write your question in this forum....

Nope, you'll never get a person to answer the numbers you can find on your own. (OR at least I haven't gotten anyone to answer) :/
