Yes but not me as I’ve never needed one

According to the official website, it was supposed to have been deprecated March, 25th. It most likely won’t be around for long.
the embassy website is always late with being updated. The latest date currently is the 25th July, though I am hearing that it may very well be the end this time! (Nothing official though yet)
I thought I read that somewhere, actually… now that I think about it.

Last time I got the covid extension in Chiangrai and when I got my passport stamped, the officer informed me that it was my last extension so I am very uncertain if I will get rejected
at Bangkok or another immigration centre? I heard Pattaya were being awkward. But like you, I had no issues, at both Chiang Mai or Phuket. Not a question asked!

There probably have been. It’s up to the discretion of the immigration office(r). some offices are more willing to issue than others. perhaps if you say what office you will use others can confirm how that office deals with them.
