Can I make multiple deposits to meet the 65,000 baht requirement for my Thai Non-O visa extension each month?

Regarding the 65k xfer to thai account every month for next year extension of a non-O visa - can the deposit be any time each calendar month (e.g., Oct 5, Nov 23)?

Also, can it be multiple deposits in the month that add up to more than 65k, rather than a single xfer each month?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
To meet the financial requirements for a non-O visa extension in Thailand, you need to transfer a total of 65,000 Baht into your Thai bank account each month. It is generally accepted that this transfer can be made at any time within the month. Multiple transfers can be made as long as they cumulatively meet or exceed the 65k requirement for that month. Different immigration offices may have varying preferences, with many suggesting that a single transfer each month is simpler and helps avoid complications. It's advisable to check directly with your local immigration office for their specific acceptance criteria.

Usually you can do as many international transfers as you like but they need to total a minimum of 65k baht each and every month for a full 12 months prior to applying for the next extension and you also have to honour the terms of the current extension

thanks John so if I do transfers every month for the same values making up the 65k that should be ok ?

@Barry *******
should be, best to confirm with your immigration office & be careful of currency fluctuations. 1 baht under 65k and they'll refuse your extension

thanks John I’m not in Jomtiem until the end of the month but hopefully I’ll find out then. I’ll start transferring anyway this month before I get there as I don’t want to miss out next December 2025 when I apply for the extension using the 65k method

Yes wait for a good rate,BB,Kasikorn or SCB are the go to banks

Most offices prefer 1 transfer per month.

The transfer should be around the same time each month to avoid any problems.

Each office and then officer will ultimately decide.

The simpler you make it the easier to get through.

wise does not have that limit. that limit is only for instant transfers, over that can take a few days but certainly those go through. one can lookup this on their website.

There's a limit via Wise but not if you use swift

65k a month through WISE to SCB has worked for us - over 15 months now selecting correct reason for transfer is important so it shows funds come from outside Thailand.

@John *********
not if you transfer to Bangkok bank, kasikorn or SCB either.

i don't use Remitly but think it has more restrictive limits than Wise

You would need to ask your local immigration office what they will accept.
