Quick question - does the 20,000 as proof of being able to support oneself (to show on arrival) have to be in Thai Baht or can it be the equivalent amount in another currency?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When arriving in Thailand, the 20,000 Baht requirement as proof of self-support must be shown in Thai Baht. While some immigration officers might accept the equivalent in another currency, it's safer to have the amount in Baht to avoid complications.
