*PCR for 6 yo kid*

Hello all, my son is 6 yo. Does he need to do a pre departure PCR? It is not clear if PCR is mandatory as soon as the child turns 6 or if the year of birth counts (so kids born in 2016 and above). Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for a pre-departure PCR test in Thailand states that it applies to travelers under the age of 6, meaning children who are 6 years old or older do not need to take the test.

Travellers under 6, not 6 and under.
