I have psoriasis (as well as the accompanying psioritic arthritis) and require ongoing dermatology supervision, medications and treatment.

Does anyone know if that will be sufficiently 'serious' to qualify for the ongoing treatment clause for the DTV?

To apply for DTV through medical treatment route, you need to have an appointment history, diagnosis, and treatment plans for the next 6 months to 1 year from a hospital in Thailand.

Sam Birchenough my point is that I was told you need treatment and ongoing treatment plan from the hospital vs just any doctor's office. For instance, seeing a rheumatologist at Bangkok hospital with the proper letter and forms vs just any rheum. Let me know what you find through your research

DTV via this route would suit many. However, a healthy person might go for decades without consulting a doctor. No appointment history, diagnosis or treatment plan. Do they also require that you are unfit to fly? Otherwise, how can you argue that you must receive treatment in Thailand?

afaik it's not necessarily that you must recieve treatment there, just that you will have ongoing treatments there.

You have a condition that requires treatment, so it is very likely ok. You need to submit a detailed treatment plan from your doctor for at least 6 months, the longer the better.
