This question will be about an unusual 90 day check-in situation.
My next 90 day check-in is due in 24 November. I just renewed my passport (new number), then I received my one year visa extension, with multiple entry permit.
I'm visiting S Korea for a few days next week, returning to Thailand on 24 October.
I know that under normal circumstances, my first 90 day check-in after visa extension must be done in person AND the clock resets on the 90 day check-in from the day I return from Korea, making the new in-person 90 check-in date 24 February.
Since I have a new passport number, does that change anything?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is due for a 90-day check-in after a visa extension and wants to know if renewing their passport (with a new number) affects this process. Responses clarify that while the first 90-day report after a visa extension must be done in person due to the new passport, subsequent reports can be done online. Additionally, filing a new TM30 under the new passport is required.

That is not correct, only the very FIRST 90 day report when you start getting year extensions has to be done in person, after that you can do online even when you get a new year extension
Yep, you have to do the next 90 day report IN person on a new passport, AND you need to file a new TM30 (if you haven't yet) under the new passport too
I'd say do nothing now, once you come back, go file a TM30 on the new passport with the new arrival date, then when the 90 day report is due go file that one in person and you'll be set using the online system after that for 90 day reporting
