I have a 12 month extension of stay, sometimes referred to as a Retirement Visa, I have renewed my passport within Thailand 2 years ago. This morning I managed to complete my 90 day report online and this has been approved. Tod Daniels, it would now seem that you can do 90 day report online without having to leave the country for the system to recognise the new passport, I post this for info only for others in the same boat.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has successfully completed their 90-day report online after renewing their passport while staying in Thailand. It seems that the online system recognizes the new passport, allowing users to report without leaving the country.

If you renewed your passport two years ago and haven't left the country since then you've been doing 90 day reporting with the NEW passport for quite some time. glad it worked

Yes, this is the first time it has worked online since I got the new passport, maybe the immigration software has been tweaked.
