OA Visa and flying border-hop query: Cambodia now listed on Thai 46 Country list (for 1 night quarantine entry): Cambodia requires 7 day quarantine for vaxxed traveller entry, so a a flying border-hop now more feasible. Question: if original OA Visa entry to Thailand was 5 Feb 2021, if flying border-hop Thai-Cambodia-Thai achieved before 4 Feb 2022, then will be stamped in for another 12 months on Original OA visa (assuming associated insurance paid up). Correct? No additional requirements? (apart from insurance)? Cheers

That's how it would work. If they entered the country before the visa sticker expires, had another year of the required health insurance and met the re-entry requirements to get back into thailand they'd get stamped in for as long as their insurance is good for up to a year

Thanks. Maybe good option, but not sure if 21 days required in Cambodia to be eligible for 1 night only quarantine upon Thai return? Maybe if only in Thai and Cambodia for last 21 days, can be eligible? Otherwise, Sandbox Return maybe best option? See what happens.

Cambodia is not allowing Tourists into the country and if you do qualify for entry there is a 14day quarantine

Chris Maple. If Cambodia is on the green list, you won't need to spend the 21 days there, but it sounds like a lot of trouble to go to when you can get a 1900 baht extension at an immigration office

I'm only commenting on the visa validity and you coming back in before it expires. Where you go, how long you have to stay there and the hoops you jump thru to get back into thailand are all on you. 😕 Sorry,
