TLDR : Answer Summary
The term 'pending approval' does not guarantee that a visa will be approved, but many users indicate that it often leads to approval. Experiences vary, and inquiries were made regarding whether the application was for an LTR visa or others. It was suggested to contact the embassy for clarity, emphasizing that while pending status typically leans towards a positive outcome, there are no guarantees.
LONG TERM RESIDENT (LTR) VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Pending means pending no guarantee it will be approved, but more than likely it will be as if they were going to decline it you would have got decline quickly
Are you referring to an “under consideration” stamp for a extension in country or do you mean you’re applying for a visa at an overseas consulate/embassy?
Ok my guess is you would have heard from them if something wasn’t right or they needed more information. No guarantee as each embassy has their own procedures.
