Due to my own sloppy calculations I am going to overstay by one day on my 60 day SE tourist visa. I did the same two years ago got a one day overstay stamp with fine waived. I don't really want to get an extension preferring to get another 1 day overstay stamp ant the possibility of a 500Bht fine. I also need to renew my passport this year. My question is, when you have a new passport, do the Thai authorities retain information for previous visits to the Kingdom?
