Do I need to have travel insurance ready + in place prior to applying for a visa ?
Answer summary
Whether you need travel insurance prior to applying for a Thai visa depends on the specific visa you are applying for. Generally, most visas such as the 60-day tourist visa or Non-O visa do not require insurance. However, the Non-OA visa does require insurance from a limited group of providers. It's important to clarify which visa you are applying for to determine if insurance is necessary.

Do you need tourist 60 day visa or is it on arrival 🤔
Arron Doherty Non immigrant O or OA? One requires insurance from a limited group of insurers. And visa runs alongside insurance validity. Non-O doesn't require insurance.
