TLDR : Answer Summary
When filling out the TM7 form for a visa extension, you should write the number of days corresponding to your specific extension request. If you're applying for a one-year extension (such as for retirement), you would enter 365 days. If you're extending a tourist visa or visiting family, you would indicate a shorter duration, such as 30 or 60 days, respectively.

if you're applying for a year extension just put down 365 and put down retirement for the reason, no need to make it harder than it is

No, you fill in the amount of days corresponding with the application of Extension of Stay.

30 days if you like to extend a tourist visa or visa exempt

60 days if you apply to visit family

365 days if you want to work 1 more year
