Does your bank statement have to be right up until the day you sent off your Visa or can it be a couple of weeks old?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Visa in Thailand, a bank statement that is a couple of weeks old is generally acceptable. It is recommended that the statement is from the month of the visa application. If processing takes longer and the authorities request an updated statement, it can be provided at that time.
