Hi, flying to Thailand tomorrow from Laos, will get the 30 day visa with a UK passport and then we are looking to extend for a further 30 days whilst there, will we need proof of onward travel when arriving at the airport tomorrow? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler flying to Thailand from Laos with a UK passport, planning to enter on a 30-day visa, inquired about the necessity of showing proof of onward travel upon arrival. Based on community feedback, it is unlikely they will be asked for proof unless they have a recent history of overstaying in Thailand, but airlines may request to see it.

Unless you have a recent history of staying in Thailand , NOT likely to be asked for proof of your flight departing Thailand within the 30 days of your flight arrival into Thailand. But your airline may ask to see it.

And it seems that you are unsure if you are staying or leaving Thailand...
