I plan on obtaining a non O A visa for one year. To get a residency certificate from immigration do I need a lease for the whole year. I plan on buying a condo before the year is up. Do I need to stay in a rental for a year.
Answer summary
To obtain a residency certificate for a Non-O A visa in Thailand, you may not necessarily need a lease for the entire year, as requirements can vary by immigration office. It is advisable to keep a copy of your current lease and ensure your landlord has filed a TM30 for you.

5555 if you save your fees not to hire someone for your visa process you end up in more crap and the other people will use that opportunity to make money .
It's better to hire someone to do it for you Don't be thrifty spend one time and the next renewal is easy for you so need our service let us know thanks 👍
That's up to your immigration office. It's not a common requirement, but each immigration office sets their own requirements. That's at least 1 office for every province in Thailand.
