Hi, i am looking for some advice regarding my current visa situation, I currently have a Non B visa as i am working here. My Thai girlfriend recently passed away, although we were not married we have 2 children together, both born here in Thailand ages 12 and 15. I plan to stay here and continue working but as i have 2 dependent children who live me, is it necessary for me to change my visa.

Further information ( not sure if this is relevant or not )

Although my name is on both birth certificates, apparently i am not recognized as their legal guardian, this is something i am currently in the process of changing

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual inquiring about their visa situation holds a Non B visa while working in Thailand. After the passing of their Thai girlfriend, with whom they have two Thai children, they seek advice on whether a visa change is necessary given their situation. A comment suggests there is no requirement to change the visa status as the children are Thai citizens.

No requirement for you to change your visa status as your children are Thai.
