TLDR : Answer Summary
After obtaining a 90-day Non-Immigrant B visa and a work permit in Thailand, you must apply for an extension to convert it into a longer-term visa. The process is not automatic; you will need to provide paperwork from your employer to the immigration office. Additionally, if you intend to travel outside Thailand and re-enter, you can also purchase a multiple re-entry permit after receiving the extension.

You need to go to immigration inside Thailand to get an extension with paperwork from your employer. If you want to you can also buy a multiple re-entry permit once you get the extension
