Thailand set up a system that you apply for the Non Immigrant B visa and before your last Admitted to Stay runs out you apply at your local Immigration Office for the 1 year Extension of Stay based on working in Thailand. After this Extension of Stay is stamped inside your passport you can apply for the re-entry permit to keep the stay valid if you like to travel.

No, this visa is available at Kota Bharu for directors of the companies and at Penang for Managing directors of the companies, both are in Malaysia.
