ORIGINAL POSTER
I'm applying for a Non-B visa and my school will send me the paperwork so I can apply from my country. Does anyone know if I need the original documents mailed to me or will scanned copies do? Thanks.

That is a question best answered by the consulate you're applying at. Did you contact them?
